Michael Brown

Michael embarked on his investment career at Smith Barney, where he focused on investing for a number of athletes from Major League Baseball and the 1990 Georgia Tech national championship football team. He then went on to work as an Institutional Bond Salesman for Morgan Keegan & Co covering asset managers, corporations, financial institutions and municipalities.

Michael has a passion for working with athletes and their families as they navigate the unique financial profile of careers in the professional sports industry. He specializes in planning for every stage of athletes’ careers, from the early, highly compensated years through retirement and onto leaving a successful legacy for the next generation. Michael strategizes with his clients to protect and preserve their wealth through investments. He is dedicated to financial mentorship, which includes traveling extensively to support and provide guidance to many current and future pro-athletes. Bridging the gap between financial well-being and professional athletics has become Michael’s mission which he believes starts with educating his clients.

Michael graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Finance, later earning his MBA from the Scheller College of Business.
